For this styled shoot out at Ribera Beach, CA, we let nature guide us, and she gifted us with countless stunning moments that we all knew, on a deep and fundamental level, are beyond anything anyone could have ever “styled” or “edited”. These are the kinds of beauty that can only be captured – not created. From the aged cliffs jutting out of the beachside rocks to the light mist hanging in the air, this shoot is effortlessly elegant. The slight breeze billowing through our Fay gown for some free-flowing, breathtaking bridal portraits that can only be hoped for. This series of photos takes the rustic nature of a beach wedding and turns it into a whimsical take on a classic wedding style.

Sometimes, when the moment is right, all you need is a patch of beach grass to capture the most breathtaking images. With a hint of the ocean in the background, this styled shoot focuses on the wild terrain you find on your way down to the beach. The overgrown brush and aged steps of this location bring a boho aesthetic to these photos. We wanted to strip back the glamour of a wedding to the bare elements of a flowing wedding dress and a beautiful bride. Surrounded by the earthy texture of the location, there was no doubt that stunning bridal photos would come out of this shoot. The simplicity of everything from the greenery bouquet to the lack of bridal accessories encapsulates an effortless elegance that is indicative of a laid-back beachside wedding.

Between a cerulean sea and sky is a terrain of tumbling moss, weathered stone, and stately, aged oaks. With aged stone steps leading from a cliff to a small private beach, nature set the scene for us in this amazingly intimate setting that shows the Gloucester, MA shoreline at its finest. Beach weddings are known to be so simple, but in this styled shoot we wanted to bring some glamour to the serene atmosphere of the beach. From the vintage chaise lounge to the aged-wood altar, the wedding decor is tying together old and modern elements. Pulling inspiration from the ocean, the color palette was a mix of soft and classic blue to capture an elegantly chic wedding style. The free-flowing nature of this shoot encapsulates the simple, elegant feel of a classic beach wedding.
